Yurutse

Yurutse is a village with a single family that operates a homestay. The village stands very simple and majestically with a big house and few buddhist chortens around. It is situated at the heart of the Hemis National Park, and the village has been a favorite with wildlife enthusiasts and snow leopard spotters for their stay in the winters.

Tsogsty

Tsogsty village was electrified in Sept 2016 and since then the life of the villagers changed forever. Tsogsty is a beautiful village in Hemis national park. All around the village are apple, apricot and walnut farms and a water spring flows just beside it. The village have four beautiful houses in middle of great views of mountains. In this village you can also meet the copper metal artisans who still practice this ancient art. Experience a stay at this vibrant village.

Sumda-Chun

Sumda Chun is one of the most ancient village of Ladakh. The Sumda Chun monastery (Wiki) is endangered site and an important heritage for the villagers here.

Shingo

Shingo is another beautiful village in Hemis National Park. Mountain Homestays' initiative has played a pivotal role in the holistic development for this village. After solar electrification in 2015, we are now working on better livelihood for this village through homestay based tourism.

Rakuru

While the unique landscape of Nubra valley is favorited by many tourists, Village Rakuru is a beautiful village not explored by many till now. The 6hr trek to Rakuru is through the amazing mountians and the village offers a unique taste of culture and heritage.
