It’s only when we couldn’t travel anymore that we realised just how much we love to travel! As we head out again under the blue, open skies, winding up the high mountain roads, and breathing in the crisp, cold air, we owe it to ourselves to make every holiday count. To seek out the best views, the most enriching experiences, and to meet the warmest, most charming people we’ll ever meet, as we rest and recover on the edge of the map.

As climate change induced disasters, pandemics, and other visible and invisible forces compel indigenous, rural folk to leave their homes in search of a better life, they stand to lose a lot. But, as we now know, with such forced migration, and the social and cultural erosion that invariably follows, we stand to lose a lot too! Not only as travellers, but also as fellow human beings.
