Rezang La Border Homestay

Located in Chushul Village near the Indo-China border, Rezang La Border Homestay offers travellers a chance to experience life in one of Ladakh’s most remote border regions. Your host, Urgain Tashi, comes from a Changpa nomadic family with deep connections to the Pashmina herding traditions of Changthang.

Urgain is a Pashmina herder, local guide and homestay host. He shares his knowledge of Changpa nomadic life, Pashmina production, the history of the 1962 Indo-China War and the birdlife of Changthang.

Guests can learn directly from him about the traditional practices and everyday life of communities living in this remote part of Ladakh.
