Your host, Suchitra, is a homemaker deeply connected to her land and community. With two years of hosting experience, she spends much of her day tending to the farms using traditional and organic practices passed down through generations. Fluent in Garo and Hindi, Suchitra and her husband have always enjoyed sharing the culture, traditions and everyday life of the Garo Hills. She warmly welcomes guests not as tourists but as part of the household. Travellers are encouraged to spend time with her, whether learning to cook traditional Garo dishes in the kitchen, understanding local farming methods or simply sharing stories during meals. Her genuine love for hosting creates a deeply authentic and welcoming stay.
