Your host is Morup, who lives here with her husband, a retired army officer. They practice sustainable, traditional farming at an altitude of 10,800 feet. Morup manages a large garden on the property, growing organic vegetables and flowers. She is an expert cook who prepares farm-to-table meals blending traditional Ladakhi flavors with modern cuisine. Morup actively shares local history with guests and invites them to visit her centuries-old ancestral home in the village for morning prayer sessions.
