Located just a half-hour drive from Padum, Pidmo Eco Homestay offers a stay close to nature in a quiet village on the banks of the Zanskar River. Consisting of only 20 traditional Ladakhi homes where historical farming practices continue, the homestay is surrounded by high mountains, wild juniper trees and ancient stupas, providing an authentic look into Zanskari culture.

Your host Stanzin Nangsal has a kind smile and a gentle nature. She runs this traditional homestay with her brother who is a professional trekking guide. They are both in their 20s and they work hard to take care of their Zanskari home. Stanzin is very dedicated to her house and she takes great care of the family farm in the mountains. She picks fresh plants from the farm and she is an excellent cook who makes warm meals for her guests. She also knows how to make traditional crafts and weave. Her brother is always happy to share what he knows about the high mountains and the animal paths and the Zanskari culture. Together their simple life and hard work and real care make sure that every guest feels like a true part of their family.
