Just about 30 minutes from Leh, in the quiet village of Phyang, the Pashmina Nomadic Cosmo Experience brings together stories of the sky, local culture and community-led hospitality. The journey begins with a pickup from Leh market, followed by a scenic drive to the village.

On arrival, you start with a short visit to the monastery, easing into the pace of the place. From here, you move to the Cosmohub, a simple, thoughtfully created space run by local women. The experience begins with an audio-visual session that sets the context for the evening, followed by a walk through the small Astro Museum. Here, the women share their stories, local folklore and their understanding of the cosmos, beautifully blending traditional Tibetan beliefs with modern astronomy.

As the evening unfolds, you learn about stars, planets, constellations and distant nebulae, before stepping out under the open sky for a guided stargazing session. Away from city lights, the night sky here feels closer, clearer and deeply calming.
