Located in Sumur Village in Nubra Valley, Nubra Eco Homestay is situated approximately 120 km from Leh, taking around 5–6 hours via Khardung La Pass. The homestay is positioned opposite the Buddha Park and near the Siachen River, offering access to both cultural landmarks and the natural landscape of Nubra Valley. The location provides connectivity to key sites such as Samstanling Monastery, sand dunes of Sumur and routes towards Turtuk and Siachen.
Sumur Village lies along the historic Silk Route in Nubra Valley, making it a suitable base for exploring monasteries, river landscapes and desert terrain within the region.
The space
The homestay is set within a village environment surrounded by agricultural fields and sea buckthorn plantations. Built using traditional woodwork techniques, the structure reflects local architecture while accommodating guest stays.
